Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Herman John Ortman (Weyburn, Saskatchewan), who passed away at the age of 95, on January 7, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Ortmann and Julianna Ortmann; his wife Katherine Ortman; his son Wayne Herman Ortman; and his siblings, Jacob Ortmann, Michael Ortman, Charles Ortman, Adolf Ortman (Eddy), Robert Ortman, Katherine Swidrowich and Pauline Dechant.
He is survived by: his children, Constance McKenzie (Earl Cooper) of Saskatoon, SK, Karen Macovichuk (Alan) of Winnipeg, MB and Scott Ortman (Shirley Premachuk) of Winnipeg, MB; his grandchildren, Elin Mann (Robert), Thomas McKenzie (Donghui Bae), Jeffrey McKenzie (Shannon), Leyna Macovichuk, Britany Macovichuk (Jayden Nickel) and Steven Premachuk; his great grandchildren, Julie McKenzie, Nola McKenzie, Rachel McKenzie, Evora Mann, Leah McKenzie and Octavia Mann; and his sisters, Rosa Wilhemina Whieldon of Maple Ridge, BC, Gertrude Hala of Medicine Hat, AB and Julianna Gutzke of Weyburn, SK. He is also survived by other relatives & friends.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, we all must abide by the province of Saskatchewan's guidelines on public gathering by limiting the number of people attending the service to 30 people.
Donations in memory of Herman may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
