She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Metchuk and Katherine Metchuk; her husband Ilko Szwetz (Alex); and her siblings, Rosalia, Joe and Jack Metchuk.

She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Hutyra (Andrew, family: Nicole, David); her granddaughter Isabella; her daughters, Teresa Lee (Alan, family: Brian, Chris, Robert) and Linda Audette (family: Matthew, Jennifer, Shaelyn, Steven Szwetz); her grandchild Jayda; and her son Kevin Szwetz (Byllie-Rae, family: Bayle, Mikaela). She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
