He was predeceased by: his parents, George Baird and May Baird; his wife Terry; and his brother George Baird. He is survived by: his daughters, Tricia Mayea (Ron), Terra Baird and Riley Nicholson; his grandchildren, Jordan Bates, Rylan Mayea, Mackenzie and Dawson Dobbie; and his brothers, Doug Baird and Stephen Baird. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
