She was predeceased by: her parents, Dave Maurer and Dolly Maurer; her brother Harvey Maurer; her grandson Victor John Whitell; and her parents-in-law, Fred and Lina Whitell.
She is survived by: her husband John Whitell; her children, Candace Brownridge (Don), David Whitell (Carley) and Janice Phillips (Darcy); her grandchildren, Em Ironstar (Carmen), J. T. Phillips (Melissa), Ryan Whitell (Allegra), Noelle McGuire (Kory), Kaylee Phillips (Tyler) and Alexis Whitell; her great grandchildren, Mila Phillips and Penny McGuire; her sister Lynda Weatherwax (Bob); and her sister-in-law Vivian O'Brien. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, her cousins and wonderful friends.
