She was predeceased by: her parents, Morley Giroux and Annie Giroux; her parents-in-law, Remie and Mary Van of Sype; her grandsons, Aaron, Jason and Mark; her great great grandchild Austyn; her brothers, Hugh, Gordon and Raymond Giroux; and her siblings-in-law, Dale Broker, George Karch, Joan and Margaret Giroux.

She is survived by: her husband Mel; and her children, Valerie Dychko (Tim), Russ (Cathy) and Kelly.
