She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bob" Johnston; her parents, Les McPhee and Verna Towne; her stepfather Lloyd Towne; her sister Bonnie Snelling (Arvin); her parents-in-law, Glenna Johnston and Charlie Johnston; and her sister-in-law Pat Johnston.

She is survived by: her son Rob Johnston (Karrie) of Weyburn, SK; her grandchild Kerrston (Kolton Hein); her great grandchild Wrenley; her grandchild Keiawna (Ty Knoblauch); her daughter Jill Kokoski (Greg) of St. Brieux, SK; her grandchild Kobe (Khrystyna Ostrovsky); her daughter Brooke Charlton (Ryan) of Weyburn, SK; her grandsons, Adam and Kaleb; and her siblings-in-law, Linda Paquette (Gerry) of Red Deer, AB, Judy Garner (Doug) of Regina, SK and Bill Johnston of Weyburn, SK. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
