He was predeceased by: his parents, Hjalmer Nyhus and Evelyn Nyhus; his granddaughter Amber Moore; and his siblings, Walter, Harold Nyhus, Annetta Lillejord, Doris McKenzie, Ella Tourscher and Jean Hlavka.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Nyhus of Weyburn, SK, Glen Nyhus, Lorraine Nyhus of Sylvan Lake, AB, Kevin Nyhus of Minton, SK and Calvin Nyhus (Niki) of Minton, SK; his grandchildren, Jason, Kirk, Kyla, Chelsea, Ashley, Brandon, Chad, Emily, Elisabeth, Nate, Brandt, Dyceson, Cadence, Clay, Carson and Cort; his siblings, Reta Szakacs, Muriel Ayotte, Wilfred Nyhus and Leonard Nyhus; and his brothers-in-law, Paul Hlavka and Rudy Szakacs. He is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, nephews as well as other relatives and friends.
