He was predeceased by: his wife Audrey Parks; his son Michael Parks; his parents, Ina and Cecil; his parents-in-law, Lillian and Horace Butler; his siblings, Josie Hindley (Bill), Lyle (Agnes), Wes (Albina), Hazel Peterson (Ernie), Nora Schmidt (Mike), Dorothy Blanchard (Maurice), Patricia Gardiner and Raymond; and his siblings-in-law, Russel Hallborg, Armand Tremblay, Ted Beaudin, Roy, Stella Butler, Phyllis, Lawrence Bloor and Rod Butler.
He is survived by: his daughter Rosanne Kerr (Darryl); his grandchildren, Victoria (Duncan McInnis), Hope (Cam Thompson) and Calista; his daughter Pat Wilkes Wilkes (Kim); his grandchildren, Devan Lohse (Danka Spiric), Paige, Brady Popil, Kohen, Camdyn, Jennifer Frederiksen, Brianna Rose, Karter, Alexa Lee, Andrea Woods, Brennen, Adelyn, Travis Wilkes, Devon Wilkes [Avery] (Kayla Myer) and Diesel; his sister-in-law Delores Butler; and his siblings, Gordon Parks (Cathy), Maxine Hallborg and Darlene Beaudin. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
