He was predeceased by: his wife Elisabeth; his parents, Armand LaCoste and Bernice LaCoste; his siblings, Darrell LaCoste (Cecelia), Marilyn Williams and Sharon Patton; and his sister-in-law Adell LaCoste.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory Hoffart (Dolores), Sheila Hovanak (Gary), Thomas Hoffart (Teresa), Troy LaCoste and Kent LaCoste (Lotus); his grandchildren, Kim Hall, Brett Hoffart, Catherine Hoffart, Brendan Hovanak, Brianne Coghill, Erin Hoffart, Payden Garaas, Adanna LaCoste, Amy LaCoste, Dallas LaCoste and Devin LaCoste; his siblings, Kenneth LaCoste (Lovey), Dwight LaCoste (Connie), Vernon LaCoste, Leona Tessier (Herbert) and Marianna Wick (Randy); and his friend Betty Knibbs. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
