He was predeceased by: his parents, Johann Soderlund and Grace Soderlund; his siblings, Gregory Forsberg and Marlene Sluchenski; his parents-in-law, James and Ethel McCardle; his sister-in-law Frances Mudd; and his nephew James Mudd.
He is survived by: his wife Winnifred; his daughters, Jacqui Spence (Cory) and Shannon Kelm (Patrick); his granddaughters, Brogan Spence and Brynna Spence; and his sisters, Ann Soderlund, Lorraine Forsberg and Marjorie Betts.
