Shirley left this world on November 4, 2024 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grant Smith and Elsie Smith; her husband Ken; her in-laws, Fred and Gladys Schatz; and her brother-in-law Stan Keffer.
She is survived by: her sons, Trent (Linda) and Colin (Isabelle); her grandchildren, Lukas and Jude Rylan Schatz; her sister Bev Keffer; and her siblings-in-law, Wade (Deloris), Gary (Rosemary) and Alene Mutala. She is also survived by her family, friends, including her animals.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Watrous United Church (502 Main St, Watrous, SK S0K4T0). A burial was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Young Cemetery. A reception was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Watrous United Church (502 Main St, Watrous, SK S0K4T0).
