He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alcock and Helen Alcock of Venn; his stepfather Kelly Teal; his sister Jane; his brothers-in-law, Geoff Filson and Brian Wilson; and his cousins, John Hunt, Eroca Ellingham and Conrad Borsheim.

He is survived by: his former spouse Naida Archer; his sons, Jordin (Yuying) and Jonathon (Amanda); his wife Sue Alcock; his grandchildren, Imogen, Trajan, Drezden, Charlotte and Edward; his sister Marci; his niece Katie Jane; his nephew Alexander; his brother James (Helen); his adoptive daughters, Rose and Belle; his stepchildren, Graham (Alysha) and MacKenzie; his sister-in-law Sue Archer; his nieces, Sacheen and Morgan (Ryan); and his siblings, Joel and Terry Wilson. He is also survived by numerous cousins and wonderful friends.

In lieu of flowers donations in Tom's memory can be made to All Saints Anglican Church or Watrous Manitou Beach Heritage Centre.
