It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecile Blackbird of Waterhen Lake, Saskatchewan, who passed away on January 5, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her close friend Fred Martell; her parents, Tom Blackbird and Angelique Openeyes; her sister Marlene Blackbird; and her daughter Irene Blackbird.
She is survived by: her children, Linda (Gerald), Janet, Larry, Dennis, Fredrick, Steven, Dean (Donna), Clayton (Judy) and Elaine; and her brother Billy Blackbird. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren.
