He was predeceased by: his son Kenneth; his parents, Mike Gryba and Nellie Gryba (Cherewyk); his sisters, Mary Griffin (Fred) and Hope Poncelet (Jack); and his wife Susan Stelmaschuk.

He is survived by: his daughter Vicky Kuntz (Terry) of Humboldt; his grandson Curt (Shawna); his great grandchildren, Brady and Keith (Kimberly); his daughter Lorain Resch (Dave) of Grande Prairie; his grandchildren, Jaydean and Alex; his sons, Mike of Yellow Creek, Daniel (Stephen) of Yellow Creek and Doug (Mandy) of Saskatoon; his grandchild Masyn; his sisters, Areta Plume (Ed) of Calgary and Victoria Billo of Whitecourt; and also, Cohen and Jace.
