She was predeceased by: her parents, John Inkster and Rosina Inkster; her son Stuart; her grandson Travis; her son Ken; and her husband James Cunningham.

She is survived by: her daughters, Heather of Lloydminster, Alberta and Bev of Blue River, BC; her daughter-in-law Jeanette of Smeaton; and her sister Gail of Indian Head, Saskatchewan.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.

Donation in memory of Joan may be directed to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Diabetes Association or to the Royal University Hospital.
