He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert and Anna; and his siblings, Francis, Delphine, Marion and Helen.

He is survived by: his wife Dolores; his children, Bradley (Norma), Ryan (Cara), Lorelei Diederichs (Hal) and Colleen Flasch (Derek); and his siblings, Henry (Eyvette) and Genevieve Trischuk (Morris). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many friends, relatives, and in-laws.
