He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Prystupa and Olive Prystupa of Mayfair; his siblings, Joycey Ann and Mervin Prystupa; his nephews, Bret Prystupa and Wayne Prystupa; and his niece Danni Jean Harris.
He is survived by: his former wife Brenda Allenby; his sisters, Darlene Batty (John) and Diane Harris (Gordon); his sister-in-law Sharon Prystupa; his nephew Bart Prystupa; his children, Nicholas, Lawrence, Corbin, Evie, Jay (Raelene), Batty, Craig Harris (Dana) and David Harris (Amanda Hainsworth); his nieces, Joyanne Dufour (Joe) and Allison Batty-Simonar (Dillan); his niece-in-law Holly Prystupa; and his daughters, Dakota and Hannah. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, their spouses, and his great-nieces and great-nephews.
At Bernie's request, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or Independent Order of Foresters (IOF).
