He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Cora of Parkinson's Disease. He is survived by: his wife Iris; his children, Cherise and Greg (Falen); his grandsons, Gavin and Grady; and his siblings, Lloyd, Loreylye and Lois.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Scandia Lutheran Cemetery.
