He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Nordal and Asta Nordal; his son Wilmar; and his siblings, Leo Nordal, Laugi Nordal, Emily Krueger, Ingvar Nordal and Siggi Nordal.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Rose; his children, Brenda, Joanne and Howard; and also, Chelsea, Megan, Ryker, Howard and Francine Nordal.
In lieu of flowers or planting a tree, the family would appreciate a donation to the Icelandic Holar Cemetery Icelandic Holar Cemetery.
