He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Winterhalt; his parents, Nelz Winterhalt and Caroline Winterhalt; his granddaughter Amanda Dreher McComb; his siblings, Philip, Mike Winterhalt and Veronica Winterhalt; and his brothers-in-law, Louis Fiest and Jacob Fauth.

He is survived by: his children, Magdelena Winterhalt, Caroline Burke (David), Tony Winterhalt (Deb), Frank Jr. Winterhalt (Darlene) and Fred Winterhalt (Bernadette); his sisters, Betty Fiest, Barbara Fauth and Cay Winterhalt; his sisters-in-law, Juanita and Vera Winterhalt; and his close friends, Nick, Doreen Winterhalt and Angela Schell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews & extended family.
