She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Gilles and Thelma Gilles; her siblings, Eileen Schafer (Murray) and Murray Gilles; and her in-laws, John "Jack" and Evelyn Ireland.

She is survived by: her significant other Ken.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Unity United Church (310 1 St E, Unity, SK S0K4L0).
