He is survived by : his wife Caroline; his children, Donelda Dallas (David), Danielle Dana (Nathan), David Brendan (Terri), Cameron, Jayden, Damon, Raquel Spencer (Cody), Ashley, Mark Jonah (Jody), Alison, Lauren, Martina Courtney (Don), Carter, Cassie Brian Zavier (Lindsay), Lillian, Kateri, Felicity, Joesepha, Daniel Andrew (Geri), Rebecca, Corinne Burkley (Phillip), Breken, Bodhi, Mary Carson (Mark), Haylee, Christin, Callie and Jonathan Raedyn (Denelle); his siblings, Bill Cey, Robert Cey, Joan Fischer and George Cey (Thelma); and his sisters-in-law, Mary, Sharron and Cheryl.

Don Schommer wrote a sympathy message

“We wish to offer our deepest sympathies at this time of you and your families loss.Donny was a great person ,we have many fond memories of travelling back and forth from our farm to the Cey farm on horseback before we had drivers licences..Many good times to be treasured by all..Other commitments keep us from attending the service on Friday but our thoughts and prayers will be with all of the Cey's on this day of mourning .Love Don and Faye Schommer..”
