He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Cole and Teenie Cole; his former wife Betty-Lou Cole; his parents-in-law, Sam, Mary Lawrence, Oscar and Kathleen Gordon; his siblings, Herbert, Sam Cole, Mary Cormier and Mina MacDonnell; and his sister-in-law Shirley Pauls.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine Cole; his daughter Marina Foulds (Kevin); his granddaughter Wendy Macnab (Brad); his great grandchildren, Maya, Kaebri and Kyran; his grandson Michael (Tara); his great grandchildren, Kaiden and Kael; his grandchildren, Alyssa Charlton (Kayne) and Nathan (Kasie); his son Glen Cole (Roxane); his grandchild Ashley Cochrane (Ted); his great grandchildren, Kay, Theo and Maylin; his grandchildren, Shae Cole, Jaeden Cole and Hailey Cole; his daughter Twila Doom (Richard); his grandchildren, Brandon and Chelsey Doom; his son Randy Cole (Colleen); his grandchildren, Krista Cole and Jeffrey (Laisha); his great grandchild Lucas; his grandson Sheldon; his son Terrell Cole (Lhea); and his grandchildren, Taya Steistol (Tate), Bailey Cole and Tyne.
