He was predeceased by: his parents, Odney Nelson and Glenn Nelson; and his nephew Randy Schwartz. He is survived by: his wife Colleen; his sons, Drew and Landon; his sisters, Sharon (Kerry), Peart, Glenda Kenyon (Kelly) and Brenda Nelson; his nieces, Tammy Nelson (Glen) and Kristin Kenyon; his nephew Jeff Kenyon (Jolene); his parents-in-law, Watson Roper and Norrma Roper; and his brothers-in-law, Dianne Jackson, Paul Jackson, Allan Roper, Christina Roper, Brenda Cassils, Perry Cassils (Jonathon), Georgia Dangstorp, Ken Dangstorp, Cora McNinch, Edyth Sandwick, Albert Sandwick and Joe Jones.
