He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen; his daughter Dianne; his close friend Leona; his parents, Andy and Zella; and his siblings, Alex and Vera.
He is survived by: his children, Ken (Gail) and Doreen Gillis (Glen); his granddaughter Debbie; his great grandchildren, Andrew (Katelyn), Ely, Abby, Willis, Sean, Harley Fitzsimmons, Nicole Fehr (Shawn), Luka, Tylan, Remi, Ashley Hodgson (Shaun) and Mylah; and his grandchildren, Deanne Oleksyn (Miles), Rylan, Shayne, Yvonne Hunter, Megan Vivian (Zan), Murray, Tristie Hunter and Jarome.
