She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father Robert Cole; her children, Arnold Deforest (Eva), Ronald Deforest (Betty), Jerrald Deforest, Delphine Melchert (Wayne) and Cheryl Deforest; her grandchildren, Calvin Deforest (Pam), Jacqueline Johnson (Brent), Donald Deforest (Sheila), Darlene Karimi (Perry), Veronica Dierich (Bryan), Patricia Brige (Jerry), Abraham Deforest, Susan Deforest, Derek Melchert (Ruth O'Carroll) and Chad Melchert (Colleen); her great grandchildren, Emma Klepel (Christopher), Cassandra Deforest, Sabrina Deforest, Adrian Deforest, Alex Deforest, Kevyn Karimi, Kameron Karimi, Eric Dierich, Georgia Dierich, Jenna Brige, Rebecca Brige, Mason Melchert and Morgan Melchert; her great great grandchild Elizabeth Klepel; her siblings, Betty Kovach (Julius) and Edwin Hardy (Phillis); her sisters-in-law, Joan Cole and Doreen Deforest; her mother Elsie Hardy; her stepfather Ted Hardy; her husband Abraham Deforest; her daughter-in-law Vera Deforest; and her siblings, Evelyn, Doris, Gordon, Pat, Don and Lyla. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Due to Covid-19 pandemic there will be a private family burial with a "Celebration of Life" gathering at a later date.
