He was predeceased by: his close friends, Babe and Queen; his parents, Roald Henry Amundson and Phyllis Victoria Amundson; his parents-in-law, Donald Gordon McGowan and Mildred Margaret Jane McGowan; his siblings, Karen Amundson, Norma Jean Amundson and Douglas Marvin Amundson; his sisters-in-law, Merna Amundson and Margery Coffyne; and his niece Nicole Carleen Amundson.

He is survived by: his wife Carleen Mary Amundson; his sons, Robert Scott (Colleen) and Darryl Lea (Cecile); his grandchildren, Shelby Amundson, Logan Amundson and Karter Amundson; his nieces and nephews, Joy Burns (Keith), Rebecca, Remi Harrison, Alexa, Hailey Burns, Dianne Dauk (Richard), Ronan Burns, Darwin and Dean Amundson; and his siblings, Helen Wilson, Shirley Rogers and Neil Amundson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews extended family and beloved friends.
