He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva Henderson and Lawrence Henderson; his brothers, Alvin, Donald, Elwood and Robert; his father-in-law Daniel Scherr; and his brother-in-law Ross Meikle.

He is survived by: his wife Veronica; his children, Jason, Jared (Rachel), Melissa (Blair), Philip, Sharon (Kelly) and Bruce (Richelle); and his mother-in-law Rose Scherr. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, many extended family and friends.
