He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Samida and Lydia Samida; and his siblings, Lorne, Roger, Kenneth and Gaylene.

He is survived by: his wife Cori Samida; his daughter Chantal (Greg); his grandchildren, Easton, Cash and Teagan; his daughter Stephanie (Ryan); his grandchildren, Bretton, Quinton and Drayton; his children, Kirsten (Will) and Kaeden; and his siblings, David (Ruth), Ardith, Rosalee (Wayne), Janet and Chris (Ron). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
