He is survived by: his wife Louise; his children, Rick Shiels (Heather) and Tanya Mitenko (Tom); his grandchildren, Rachel, Sean, Emily, Kyla, Kara, Jana and Leah; his siblings, Carol Meszaros and Wayne Shiels (Tanis); his nieces, Patricia, Anita (Barry) and Tamara; his uncle Tex Bergman (Nola); his aunt Deanna; his cousins, Burton and Elton Harper (Sandy); and his in-laws, Imelda Sabraw (Ray), Marian Stener (Len), Ed Tremblay (Cheryl), Paul Tremblay (Jeannette), Francis Tremblay (Gay), Jim Tremblay and Margaret Ritchie (Larry). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
