It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thelma Edith (Doreen) Scharf of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, born in Lauder, Manitoba, who passed away on June 11, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William Scharf (Garry); her daughter Kimberley Scharf (Kim); her sisters, Marjorie Keeler and Freda Thompson; and her parents, Edith Couling and Fred Basil Couling.

She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Scharf (John) of Victoria and Joan Silzer (Doug) of Calgary; and her grandchildren, Megan, Mitchell Silzer, William and Victoria Meier.
