She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Carefoot and Lenora Carefoot (Tessem); her son Randy Payne; her sister Barbara Carefoot; her parents-in-law, Geoffrey and Hilda Payne; and her siblings-in-law, Bob Payne and Joyce Payne.

She is survived by: her sibling North of Beverly; her husband Jack Payne; her daughter Laurie Fowke (Kim); her grandchildren, Lindsay Thoreson (Kyle), Tyler Payne (Valerie) and Chance Payne (Teagan); her daughter-in-law Liz Payne; her great grandchildren, Veronica, Caitlyn, Harrison, Jack and Scarlett; her siblings, Lorraine McCourt (Michael), Karin Jefferies and Lloyd Carefoot (Francine); and her siblings-in-law, Ron Payne and Bonnie Payne. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
