With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Olson (Swift Current, Saskatchewan), born in Simmie, Saskatchewan, who passed away on March 29, 2018 at the age of 77. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Olson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her great grandchild Lily Olson; her parents, Andrew Lofthang and Lillian Lofthang (Marsh); her siblings, Walter Lofthang, Dick Lofthang and Evelyn Gardner; her niece Helen Nicolson (Gardner); her nephew Donald Gardner; her parents-in-law, Gustaf Olson, Phemie (Grant) and Karl Sandberg; and also, Sheila Nicolson, Betty Giebel (Olson), Pearl Lofthang, Marvin Giebel, Wally Gropp and Sam Gardner.
She is survived by: her husband Gordon Olson; her great grandchild Brady Olson (Donna); her children, Jayden Heffner (Michael), Tristan of Swift Current, SK and Mackenzie of Swift Current, SK; her sister Helen Gropp of Medicine Hat, AB; her sister-in-law Gladys Lofthang; and also, Calsey, Garrett of Swift Current, SK, Jessie of Vermilion, AB, Tammy Olson of Camrose, AB, Debra Chabot (Bernard) of Saskatoon, SK, Kelsey Chabot (Darnell Stewart) of Saskatoon, SK, Brooke, Lindsey and Greg Olson of Swift Current, SK. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
