Roger Tangen Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger Tangen in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, who passed away on February 14, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arne Tangen and Selma Tangen; his siblings, Jeanette Targerson (Ted), Edith Tangen, Audrey Street (Joe), Faye Romano (Lawrence), Donna Tangen, Cheryl Howes (Lloyd), Harold Tangen (Sybil) and Bob Tangen (Vi); and his grandson Parker Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Myrna Faye Reimer; his children, Tracy Tangen (Heather), Rheanne Pederson (Glen), Jason Tangen (Sara Clark) and Laureen Johnson (Dan); his great grandchildren, Brayden, Cassidy (Matt), Dawson (Kelsey), Carter (Jordan), Hunter, Kamryn, Porter, Quinn and Krew; his stepgrandchildren, Josie and Manny Clark; and his siblings, Garry Tangen (Linda) and Sheila Bloomberg (Glenn).
A memorial service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Olaf Lutheran Church (665 Central Ave N, Swift Current, SK S9H0M2).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Swift Current Hemodialysis Unit and The Meadows in Roger's honor.
