He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Knowlton and Ellen Knowlton; his son-in-law Michael Blackmer; and his niece Wendy Petkau. He is survived by: his wife Anna Knowlton; his daughter Kimberly Blackmer; his granddaughter Kaitlyn Tuchscherer (Jonathon); his great grandchildren, Harrison and Tate; his daughter Shelly Brodziak (Terry); his granddaughter Brittany Smith (Zack); his great grandchildren, Rae and Eddie; his granddaughter Brianna Carleton (Troy); and his sisters, Marion Foster (Mel) of Edmonton, Elaine Johnson (Jim) of Vernon and Debra Hogberg (Montie) of Vernon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
