He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gobeil and Emma Gobeil; and his siblings, Gerard, Jean-Baptiste Gobeil, Marie Elias and Irene Plante.
He is survived by: his siblings, Moise (Moe), Henry Gobeil and Lea Pelletier. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
