He was predeceased by: his parents, Heinrich Peters and Aganetha Peters; his brother Abe; his wife Helen; and his parents-in-law, Tony and Grace Berger.

He is survived by: his son Ken Peters (Denise); his grandchild Chris (Shelby); his great grandchild Ava; his grandson Kevin (Mitaya); his daughter Verna Holden (Alan); his grandchildren, Charlene (Duncan) and Darwin (Taci); his great grandchildren, Westlyn and Wayva; his daughter Charlotte Glas (Jim); his grandson Bob (Ashley); his great grandchild Jesse; his grandchildren, Brad and Ashley Acker (Logan); his great grandchildren, Axel and Blake; his granddaughter Amanda Hardman (Mike); his great grandchild Winry; and his siblings-in-law, Bud Berger (Carol), Grace Ortman (Bill) and Jean Oshmak.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wymark Coffee Club, S.P.C.A. or the Canadian Diabetes would be appreciated by the family.
