She was predeceased by: her husband Jim; her son Roderick; and her mothers, Mary Wiebe and Mina Buist. She is survived by: her children, Barb Buist Mann (Bill), Brenda Bergstrom (Wade), Patsy Wiebe (Richard) and Jim Buist; her grandchildren, Michael Buist, Jennifer Bergstrom, Gregory Bergstrom, Jason Mann and Tyson Buist; her great grandchildren, William Schous and Emily Bergstrom; her stepgrandchildren, Lia Marcott, Crystal McLellan, Cherie Cursiter and RJ Wiebe; her sister Lil Tedrick (Bob); her sisters-in-law, Betty Wiebe, Florence Anderson and Marg Benallack; her nephews, Jeff Wiebe and Al Benallack; and her granddaughters, Jami Mann and Lauren Buist. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Salvation Army (PO Box 2061 Swift Current, SK, S9H 4M7) which Nettie generously supported.
