It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary (Mhairi) Karwandy of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, who passed away on May 28, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James and Elizabeth; her stepmother Ella Morton (John Karwandy); and her sister Margaret Morton. She is survived by: her sister Elma Goldie (George); her daughter Elizabeth Martinell (Mark); her grandchildren, Emma, Matthew and Jared; her children, Jonathan Karwandy, Katrina Karwandy and Margaret Ehnisz (Chester); and her grandchildren, Amanda and Jace. She is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Saskatchewan Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services (SDHHS), an organization Mhairi felt strongly about.
