She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Hughes and James Hughes; her husband Leon; her brother Lloyd Hughes; her son-in-law Michael Klippenstein; and her siblings-in-law, Louise Hughes, Evelyn Burgess (Adrian), Margaret Wright (Andy) and Morris Plewis (Evelyn).

She is survived by: her children, Joanne, James (Pamela) and Greg (Dessirrie); her grandchildren, Janet Klippenstein, Grant Klippenstein (Jessica), Neil Klippenstein (Meghan), Ryan Plewis (Jennifer), Mark Plewis (Erynn) and Jillian Materi (Rick); her great grandchildren, Lillian, Franics Klippenstein, Mila, Annika, Piper Plewis, Campbell, Sawyer, Toby Plewis, Drew and Gianna Materi; and her sister-in-law Myrna Wilkinson (Bruce). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
