He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Auger and Adrienne Auger; his son Lucien Joseph Auger; his common-law partner Rose Maurie Rush; and his siblings, Raymond Auger, Paul Auger and Lucille Dumont.

He is survived by: his children, Kelly Auger (Renae) and Charlotte Austin; his grandchildren, Noah Auger, Jacey Auger, Christina Eresman, Melissa Fehr, Angela Fehr, Jeremy Auger, Jamie Austin, Dylan Austin, Travis Auger, Joshua Auger, Lucienne Auger, Angel Vandam and Natasha Auger; his siblings, Roger De Montigny (Hedy), Marcel Auger, Goddu, Yvette Wetterstrand, Helen Desautels, Madeleine Spaan, Marguerite Weber and Theresa Andreas; and his siblings-in-law, Pearl Auger, Louise Auger and Laurent Dumont. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
