She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Haw and Gladys Haw; her siblings, Delbert Haw and Norma Armstrong; and her brother-in-law Len Surdu.
She is survived by: her children, David Schmaltz (Denise), Rick Schmaltz (Lise), Pam Benallack and Lori Schmaltz (Michael Evans-Smith); her grandchildren, Robin Schmigelsky, Tammy Schmaltz, Samantha Walker, Carson Benallack, Jessemy Barber, Kristopher Schmaltz, Genavieve Hjalte, Savannah Schultz, Teagan Schultz, Sayre Schultz, Noah Schmaltz and Alex Schmaltz; her great grandchildren, Kyler, Ryder Schmigelsky, Ty, Cody Walker, Cash, Hudsyn Benallack and Madeleine Hjalte; and her sisters, Helen Carlton and Gwen Surdu. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
