He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Redekop and Justina Goertzen; his stepfather Peter Goertzen; and his siblings, Arthur Redekop, Olga Penner and Blondina Redekop.
He is survived by: his wife Selma Redekop; his children, Yvonne Friesen (Jack), Debby Furman (Terry Baczuk), Darcy Duggan (Bruce), Marcel Redekop (Connie) and Terry Redekop (Brenda); his grandchildren, Rachelle (Cameron), Tammy, Theresa (Danny), Jillian (Steve), David (Jennifer), Sandra (Nick), Michael (Katelynn), Justin (Alicia), Cody, Jessica (Ward), Michaela (Mitch), Demi and Kyle; his great grandchildren, Rylee, Reece, Caleb, Matt, Tyrus, Finlay, Timothy, Joseph, Autumn, Jace, Victoria, Lucy, John, Winifred, Thomas and Hunter; and his siblings, Alvina Unger, Hulda Braun and Leo Redekop (Helen). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
