He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian Koenig and Rosina Koenig; his sisters, Mary, Victoria and Millie; and his nephews, Wilmer and Leverne Silzer.
He is survived by: his sister Milliee; his children, Janet (Jim), Sherry (David), Vicki, Aaron and Tanya (Mark); his grandchildren, Christie, Russell, James, David, Kennedy, Konnor, Karson and Lena; his wife Drinda; and his sister Pauline. He is also survived by his children; grandchildren and great grandchildren; several cousins; nephews and nieces.
