He was predeceased by: his parents, Abram Funk and Helen Funk; his daughter Melodie; and his brothers, Henry and Abe.
He is survived by: his wife Irene; his son Garvin; his grandchildren, Evanna (Matt), Alex and Colin; and also, Greyson and Levi.
