He was predeceased by: his parents, Stan Christopher and Doreen Christopher; his parents-in-law, Leonard and Emma Sauder; his sister-in-law Jackie; and his nephew Ryan Sauder.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Christopher; his daughters, Carrie (Kevin Shumaker) and Erin (Marshall Waker); his grandchildren, Chloe, Kendra Shumaker and Aiden Christopher Kilshaw; his siblings, Jan (Myrna) and Corinne; his brothers-in-law, Randy Sauder (Barb) and Keith Fetch (Tamara); and his nieces and nephews, Kelsi, Jodi (Danny), Ashley, Matthew (Krista), Tyler (Kaitlyn) and Cody.
