He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul LaFontaine and Lena LaFontaine; and his son Jeremy Lafontaine. He is survived by: his children, Josh (Nikki), Eliaja (Angela) and Isaac; his grandchildren, Mikaela, Carter, Jeremiah, Aubrey, Clara, Peyton and Luke; his siblings, Ron, Shirley (Victor), Debbie (Warren), Betty (Rob), Calais and Lawrence; and his uncle Steve.
