He was predeceased by: his father John; his parents-in-law, Roy and Lila; his son-in-law Eric; and his brother-in-law Karim.

He is survived by: his wife Elaine; his daughters, Penny, Nancy and Beverly (Jason); his grandchildren, Mathieu, Brett, Kayla (Isaiah), Charlotte, Danica and Mother Helen; his siblings, John, Dale (Carol), Pete (Janine), Will (Carrie), Marian, Laurel (Pat), Diana and Melanie; and also Silas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other extended family.
