He was predeceased by: his parents, Helmer Nybo and Vera Nybo; and his siblings, Norma Ryder, Shirley Benallack, Frances Olson and Don Nybo.

He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Nybo; his daughters, Shannon Leclerc (Alan Castell), Cameryn and Damon; his granddaughters, Rachel and Celine Leclerc; his daughter Karen Wiens; his grandchildren, Mya and Aiden Wiens; his sister Thelma Grant; and his siblings-in-law, Barry Underdown (Cecile), Denise Nybo, Sue Lamarsh, Vel Colter and Mary Ann Drake (Mike). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers and in memory of Harvey Nybo, donations made to the Parkinson's Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
