He was predeceased by: his father Donavan Olson; his grandparents, Juel Olson (Florence) and Willard Clark (Helen); and his nephew Robbie Bender. He is survived by: his mother Betty Olson (David) of Alsask; his son Jesse Krause of Swift Current; his sisters, Cindy Schlachter (Bob) of Medicine Hat, Misteen Bender (Henry) of Waldeck and Carol Neustaeter (Garry); and his niece Jennifer Bender (Jim).
